I purchased this camera a week ago. Still researching on the features because there are lots of manual options. Feels good in hand,good battery life and flash is not automatic. The dedicated flash lifting button is also nice. It is not very very good in low lights from the images which I have taken so far, but it won't just fill the image with soft white backgrounds like ordinary compacts. So overall nice little camera and I heard that focusing capabilities are better than S2950.
